Dr. José Alberto Almonte is the Multiplication Network Director of the Caribbean and U.S. Hispanics Hub. He lives in the Dominican Republic with his wife and three sons.
José heard about Jesus as a child when he visited Sunday school at a local church. When he was 14 years old, he went to a church service where he gave his life to Christ. Since then, José has worked for the Kingdom in every way he could. In his local church, he was a teacher and leader of the youth ministry. In addition to his work in ministry, José is a medical doctor.
José was introduced to Multiplication Network at a meeting with one of the leaders for Bible League in the Dominican Republic. The leader mentioned a ministry that was looking for a representative at the local level within the Dominican Republic and José had come to mind. Around the same time, José began sharing a workshop called “Impactful Churches” in different churches. Months later, José received an invitation from a church leader to travel to Toa Alta, Puerto Rico and participate in a meeting of Multiplication Network representatives from around the world in 2007. He learned more about the mission of Multiplication Network through these events. Before becoming the hub director, José was the National Coordinator of Haiti for Multiplication Network.
