Stanley Nyawa is a bishop of Bethany Christian Church (BCC) and a pastor of a local church in Mukinga, Tanga, Tanzania. Bishop Stanley had already planted a church before learning about Multiplication Network Ministries (MNM), but it did not meet the characteristics of a healthy church.
“We were not doing very well in church planting as a denomination and we faced so many challenges,” says Stanley. After learning about MNM from Ibrahim Kapaya, Stanley showed interest and agreed to partner with MNM.
After incorporating the MNM tools and resources in his denomination, they are now doing very well in church planting and more churches have been planted in different places in Mukinga, Tanga.
“The tools I received from MNM have helped my own church to become a healthy church,” says Stanley. “Since I started taking the church planting program, I have been able to plant three new churches in different places and I am looking forward to planting more churches in the forthcoming months.”
As a denominational leader, Stanley has highly recommended the MNM program to his denomination. He has been mobilizing his pastors to take the church planting program so they too can experience a multiplication of churches in their areas. Last year, they conducted a couple of church planter trainings in Stanley’s region and they have been seeing positive outcomes as a result.
“Not long ago, I had the privilege of sharing with my colleagues (other bishops) about this very program and it was well received. We are looking forward to what the Lord has in store for us as a result of this partnership,” declares Stanley.
Stanley’s passion is to see more healthy churches planted in his region so people can get to know Jesus Christ. He is confident that the trainings they received can help them do that.
“I have now been able to build up a team in and outside the church that does door-to-door evangelism, something we did not do before taking MNM’s training program. This team has brought a great harvest in God’s Kingdom and we praise the Lord for that!” says Stanley.
He has finally understood the importance of the multiplication of churches in his denomination and why more churches should be established.
“I am in love with this program and it is something that we should consistently maintain,” says Stanley.
