As part of a church planting team, Anya and her husband have appreciated the training they’ve received from Multiplication Network. 

“Our team has been going through this training together,” Anya says. “We’ve mapped the area and now know more about the community we’ll be in. Learning about small groups, prayer, and spiritual gifts has also better equipped our team to work together.” 

This collaboration helped the team to stay strong during a challenging time at the start of their church plant. “Our leader and his family decided to move to the United States because of the war,” Anya explains. “We were discouraged and considered giving up. During this time, we prayed constantly for direction from God as to whether or not we should continue.” 

God answered the prayers of the church planting team by calling a leader to their group. “God gave us another family and leader to serve with us,” Anya shares. “We are thankful for a full team to continue this work and for the training that has made our team grow.”
