Brian Mutarwa is the Southern Africa Hub Director for Multiplication Network and lives in Harare, Zimbabwe with his wife Charity.
Brian has started many churches in Harare, Zimbabwe and the surrounding areas. He and his team started a church in Westgate Harare. After starting that church, God called Brian to serve in the unreached farms around Westgate and to work with the street kids who were vulnerable and needed the Word of God.
In 2014, Brian’s friend Youngson connected him with East Africa Director Michael Sillah. Michael came to visit and eventually led a Training of Trainers with Dr. John Wagenveld, founder and president of Multiplication Network. Soon after, Brian joined Multiplication Network’s team as the National Coordinator in Zimbabwe and as a member of the East Africa Leadership Team (EALT). As part of the EALT, Brian’s role was to supervise the church planting work in the southern region of the hub. These countries include Zimbabwe, South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, Angola, and Botswana. In 2026, Brian transitioned to leading the Southern Africa Hub after the East Africa Hub shifted into two new regions of ministry.
Brian and Charity have four children and he enjoys soccer and listening to afro-jazz music.
