Juan Carlos Melo is the Latin American Hub Director for Multiplication Network.

Juan Carlos has been passionate about proclaiming the Gospel since he became a Christian at age 12. “Ever since then, the fire to serve God has burned in my heart,” says Juan Carlos. Juan Carlos worked with youths and small groups in Ecuador before moving to Finland with his wife, Saara who is Finnish. They worked with a Hispanic church in Helsinki for several years before being sent back to Ecuador as missionaries by FIDA International. 

After working in Ecuador for seven years as a church planter, Juan Carlos was offered a position to work with Multiplication Network by John Wagenveld. After much prayer and consideration, Juan Carlos accepted and has been the Latin American Hub Director ever since.

Juan Carlos and his wife, Saara, live in Quito, Ecuador and have two adult children.
