Fabiola's Story

"Lord, I know this is what You have called me to do—please keep me safe today," Fabiola prays as she travels the three hours to Zapotal, Ecuador alone. She has seen God's hand of protection on her when people have attempted to rob her three times. Despite the circumstances, she does not fear the trip because she has seen God's power.

During the week, Fabiola is busy with going to classes in the morning and working in the afternoon. On Sundays she is able to meet with 11 people to disciple them. She attended the Church Planter Retreat with Multiplication Network Ministries and it motivated her to think about how others need the Lord.

"We need to get on our knees and ask God to guide us because without His support, all our work is worthless," Fabiola shares. God led her to Zapotal and she has seen the results of following Him. At one meeting, she asked if anyone wanted to accept Christ as their Savior. Hands around the room went up and Fabiola's eyes filled with tears as her heart welled with gratitude.

That experience was another nudge from the Lord to continue making the trip out to the people of Zapotal. She prays He will provide a more reliable and safer way out there so she can disciple those God has reached through her.
