ADVANCEMENT DIRECTOR
After serving 14 years as the Executive Director for Beautiful Womanhood, a mentoring ministry she founded in 2003, Sandra Tolsma sensed the Holy Spirit’s voice leading her out of one ministry and into another. “When I realized I’d fulfilled the mission and vision God dropped into my heart in 2001, I received the peace and courage I needed to follow where the Spirit was leading,” Sandra shares.
Discovering Multiplication Network encouraged Sandra that others shared her passion for healthier churches that were mission and vision focused. She believes that when churches are healthier, they will effectively impact their communities with the love of Jesus Christ and hope. In fact, when Sandra found the Take Your Church’s Pulse resources on the Multiplication Network website, she immediately forwarded them to her pastor and his wife.
Multiplication Network is a perfect fit for Sandra, who is passionate about mentoring others. “Knowing that Multiplication Network differs from 80% of other church planting organizations because they mentor, encourage, and hold accountable those who’ve been trained to plant churches really got me excited because I know from personal experience that mentoring works!”
Sandra's passion to lead others into a vibrant relationship with Jesus inspires her to develop relationships with those who, like her, desire to fulfill God’s intent that “through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known...” (Ephesians 3:10 NIV). Multiplication Network provides Sandy the opportunity to fulfill this mission through her work in donor relations. Sandra lives in Grand Rapids, MI and has three adult children and a growing number of grandchildren who affectionately call her Granny. In her free time, Sandra enjoys shopping at yard sales for all things vintage, reading, traveling, and drinking really good coffee (black is best) with friends.
